Our products are given this time – to grow, to ripen and using careful processing methods, which we very deliberately carry out by hand in a number of stages. This care and the commitment of our staff can be appreciated in all our Villa Caviciana products.
Their commitment is also rewarded, as the wines, olive oil and meat specialities are not only popular among our customers but achieve top ratings and awards in prestigious competitions.
With our animals, near natural breeding and ethical husbandry are very important to us. Our Mangalica woolly pigs live in extensive forest areas, the Racka sheep inhabit the pastures, where they grow up and live with their kin under natural conditions. The wine and the oil are certified organic. Our wines also carry the vegan seal of approval.
Incidentally, Lazio was an important hub even in pre-Roman times, where we often encounter the Etruscans’ heritage. The name “Caviciana” is taken from the old Etruscan name for the region. The graceful Sphinx in our logo is the image of a sculpture, which was found in a cave very nearby. It symbolises immortality.
