VineyardsTwo vineyards in the township of Gradoli, at an altitude of 400 to 450 metres
VinificationVarietal fermentation for approx. 14 days in a steel tank at a controlled temperature (27° to 30° C)
MaturationSeparated by grape varieties for 13 months in barrique barrels (mainly French oak), blending at the end of maturation, further bottle ageing of at least 12 months
Tasting notesSubtle spicy, woody aroma, initially seamless on the palate with organically full mouthfeel and lengthy tannic structure, very spicy wood note, complex citrus flavours, unpretentious and lots of presence in the finish
