The powerful Tannat and elegant Sangiovese combine in Faustina to create a concentrated red wine that is full of body. Despite its intensity and richness, the wine always stays dry on the tongue.

Grape varieties Sangiovese and Tannat
Vineyards Two vineyards in the township of Gradoli, altitude between 400 and 450 metres
Vinification Separate varietal vinification for approx. 14 days in a steel tank at a controlled temperature (27° bis 30° C)
Maturation Separately by grape varieties, 18 months in a barrique (mainly French oak), assemblage at the end of the maturation process
Tasting notes A fragrant spicy nose, in the style of a Shiraz, very full-bodied and powerful in the mouth, opulent on the palate, taut structure with subtle smoky notes, intense and long in the finish
