Vino Spumante brut

An unusual spumante or sparkling wine, which is pressed from the Aleatico grape, which is not otherwise used for sparkling wines. Lorenzo has an exceptionally fruity flavour with a dense mineral structure and a fine herbal spiciness.

Vinification Approx. four weeks of steel tank fermentation at a controlled temperature (16–20C)
MaturationFermentation in an autoclave and storage for 3–4 months on the lees using the metodo Charmat corto.
Tasting notes Vinous, inviting, slight herbal notes and playful fruitiness, aftertaste of mineral structure and refined spiciness, which comes together smoothly in a dry and sparkling finale

NameLorenzo was named after San Lorenzo, an abandoned village directly on the lake, to which the early romantic poet Ludwig Tieck dedicated the poem San Lorenzo and Bolsena.
