The cultivation of our vineyards is exclusively organic and our wine production has to be able to comply with strict ecological criteria. We do not use any pesticides, fungicides or herbicides. For many years, we have strongly believed this is the best way to work sustainably and produce high-quality wines.
Since 2006, our wine and olive production has been certified organic. All our wines are vegan, have been approved since 2016 and have received numerous awards. For example, at the International Organic Wine Award in 2018, Villa Caviciana received eight medals (seven Gold, one Silver) and always does well at Italian or international oil tastings. The gourmet magazine Der Feinschmecker even designated ours as “one of the world’s best olive oils”.
